A set of bunkers, 3 down the right hand side of the fairway and 2 down the left side, forces a decision off the tee to play short or risk having an extremely difficult fairway bunker shot. One of the larger greens at the Warren has a severe back to front slope flanked by large bunkers.

Local Knowledge

It's decision time!  A risk/reward tee shot, forces the player to decide if they want to hit driver and take on the set of fairway bunkers or lay up short and leave a more difficult mid to long iron approach shot.  The approach shot is welcomed by one of the larger greens at Warren.  However, the 2nd shot does play slightly down hill, so do factor that in as you do not want to go over the backside of this green.
